Philips Go Gear Video/Audio player supports WMV but it won't play

I always have to use the Converter software to convert WMV to .SMV(Sigmatel motion video), but it takes 30 minutes to convert a 12 minute video. I thought if an audio/Video player says it “plays windows media” means it can play this without converting it?

hey i needs help Guest i got a gogear aswell but mine was second hand so i didnt get the cd 4 the software do u no were i might b able 2 download this software???
