Deacon Guest | Try this free flv to avi converter which was cited in Yahoo with 'codec flv to avi conversion' in the Yahoo search box:

You will need to read through the Spanish on the webpage, but high school level Espanol should get you through.
I used the 'WMV version 2' codec (for Windows Media Player 8) included in the converter program and successfully converted an flv to avi.

With it you can convert your videos as well as add watermarks to them.
