Video Preview problem

I downloaded a movie “Resident Evil : Apocalypse” to play the file becouse it needed new codecks I installed “K-Lite Mega Codec Pack v1.16” with all settings set to default (exept installation of players) but since installation I can’t preview files in AVI Preview.

When I load the file that I want to preview AVI Preview opens it and plays audio but video is solid black with 2 or 3 skew lines that are 1 pixel width.
This problem hapens with ANY avi file that I want to preview even those that culd be watched BEFORE the installation of codec pak.

Please don’t tell me that I need to install other preview player blah,blah,blah... AVI Preview works for me fine only “codecs are corrupted”?
