Disc Burns but no Video when played

I have been using Win Avi and COnvertxtodvd to burn discs. The program was working fine but now after converting and burning the disc, when it is played the dvd player gives an error message “Wrong Disc” or “incorrect Disc” depending on the player. I have tried uninstalling all codecs and reinstalling them as well as WinAvi. Can anyone offer any suggestions on how to correct this problem? Also when I attempt to run codec tweak from the tools folder of K Lite Mega Pack, I find that it is no longer an exe application but is associated with vlc player and is a bin file? (seems unlikely, but true how is this possible)
