I have the same isssue as all (need to convert .mov to .wmv on Mac). I think the only logical (and working) consensus seems to be to go with http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv_studio.htm.

Here’s my question:
Can I get away with the $49 version or do I have to fork out funds for the higher versions?

gday everyone

i had a question about this too. i dont have a mac; i have a pc. i dont have the full version of quicktime, so i cant export my videos. i downloaded a file converter that converted quicktime vids to windows media vids, and i tried it on my videos. unfortunately, it was branded: “Trial Version; Please Regisgter” in a green colour in the middle of the screen. I dont have any online money to buy full versions of anything. is there any freebie that doesn’t brand their software that i can download? thx

Heeeeeeelp

I’ve tried to export a quicktime movie to windows media using quicktime pro and imovie on my mac but it keeps saying it can’t because of “inconsistant audio or multipul audio compression”. If I turn of the audio it will export just the vidio!!! Any answers to this problem?

VISTA-MOVIEMAKER>UPTO-1080p.you need to in stall the vista codec pack.i,m having problems with quicktime too.so far it works perfect in moviemaker, but no audio.i,m still looking for a codec,to fix this problem.i put in raw mov. no problem, but no sound.if you convert it with a 3ed. party, converter,in louses its perfection,i don,t like that.in moviemaker 6.0-it converts to a 720p.ect.in the same qulity,as quicktime, thats whst we all want.microsoft is no help.itts a shame.-don,t give up.

You guys were a GREAT help. RadVideo Tools for FREE is the way to go! NO watermarks for REE trial. Just an honor system that you’ll donate to the site. THANKS!

Does anyone know how to ensure the complete file converts to window media? I upgraded to quicktime pro and when I transfer the file to my pc it does not play the entire video. It only plays about 29seconds. Very frustrated wanting to put a wmv. on my website.
