Can anyone tell me the easiest way to get a VHS tape on to my HP computer to edit? Or give some ideas on how to do it?

Canopus make an analog to firewire converter. Hook it up to your vcr via the RCA cables and firewire to your PC.

My high school students use ours everyday.
