when playing a movie in avi preview ican only get sound no picture ...........can some one tell me what codec do i need

its usually done this if u do not have Divx codec to play avi files

You need to get Divx from www.divx.com

try to use the latest version for divx ver.5 not like previous versions

don’t find it strange if u soon download video with picture and without sound (there are some videos out there in this way)
