I have one very large .mdf file (over 2 gig) and one much smaller .mds file. I want to burn these files onto a few CD-Rs but, like I said, it’s just one big 2 gb file. Is it possible to break this big file down into smaller files of about 700mb each? If so, how would I do that?

This .mdf file is probably from a DVD so you wont be able to put it on a CD-R/RW. You can however use Dameon tools to image it onto a fake drive so you can open it and install (game) or watch (movie).
