recently downloaded sims 2 and am too lazy to go buy some blank cds.
i have 4 folders, each having what their cd should have on it.
cd 1 installs fine but when its time for cd2 to boot up the .exe file does nothing.
“please insert cd 2”
usually theres a browse button you can choose to find the setup file you need, but there is none.

question is, am i able to install the game this way?
any special program i might need to do this?

You could try a program that mounts virtual cd drives. Those are usually pay and what they do is they read cd images files that you have on your hard disk and treat them as if they’re cd-rom drives (assign a letter, etc), hence the name virtual drives.
