DVD Editing and Burning

Hi there,

I’m not terribly computer literate but I’m after some software to edit (basically cut out ads of recorded programmes) and burn dvds (I’m hoping to get about 90 minutes to a disc) and am wondering if anyone can recommend some easy to use software with low error rates.

Currently I have Roxio Easy CD and DVD Creator 6 Basic and Windows XP (which I gather are not terribly compatible) and haven’t been able to create a totally successful disc.

If you think you can shed some light on the best option for this I’d greatly appreciate it! Thanks,
