importing avi files to pp2

When importing avi files to pp2 (win xp pro) I get anly audio with no video. The avi file works on any media player and also on a differnet computer when importing the same file to pp2.
Please help!!

how can i convert avi or mpeg files to MOD files to play on JVC HD camcorder?

CAN I USE ULTRAISO TO CONVERT VOB FILES TO DATA DVD FILES? IF NOT, WHAT OTHER PROGRAM CAN I USE?
