I have a movie file that i’m trying to play in my Divx Player. Before, i was playing it in there and it said something about Audio Data: Tage 8192. I’ve now fixed that by downloading a codec, but now i can’t see any video. Also, even though it does not come up with the error, there is no Audio either. The movie just won’t play. If anyone has any idea of what i could do, tell me.
Thanks,
BrownTown

dont use the divx player :P

uninstall any codec packs that you may have and dont use them.
if you have the ac3 thats an .exe,it wont work with the divx player.

uninstall the ac3 and delete the folder it leaves behide.dont touch the divx3.doulble click on the file that aplys to you.
the audio should work, but as for the video, you sure its an divx file and you have at least divx 5.05 installed?

Or (the AC3Filter must be uninstalled before trying the folowing) go to this site and use the installer to install Moonlight Odio Dekoda

This will decode AC3 audio and is easy to install, or uninstall.

For video, uninstall all codec packs and all DivX and XviD codecs that were installed. Now install 3ivX (www.3ivx.com). This decodes nearly all versions of DivX and XviD (MPEG4) encoded video/content.
