somed00d Guest | r00 is a WinRAR format
but you’ll need the proper codec to view it afterwards.

itchy Guest | downloaded winrar, unzips the files no probs and they become avi, but they all have the same name
should I rename them all? any suggestions how I put these together again to become a normal playable movie. Whats the best out there for playing these as well please.

d00d Guest | large AVI’s are RARed up and split into small chunks for posting on newsgroups.
to piece it back together you open one of the .R00 or .RAR files, and winrar pieces them back together, you then extract the AVI from it.

itchy Guest | how do I know what order to put them in? they all have the same name!! does winrar do this automatically as well or is there some extra components I need?

d00d Guest | winrar does this automatically. all those R** files are just pieces or a bigger rar file, that when put together extract to one file

itchy Guest | Sorry, I’m not normally this thick but it just keeps asking to overwrite existing files so I end up with one file that is the same size as one piece of the movie. This wont play at all. Can you please give me some basic instructions for this. I have 13 files, all 14.3mb except one which is 3.3mb. There is also an SFV file. how do I get all these to unpack into one big file that I can then extract the avi from to watch??

d00d Guest | just open ANY ONE of the winrar files and extract the file that is in it to your desktop or to your shared folder read the .nfo file with notepad.exe, and dont worry about the sfv file
