Making chapters

Hi i’m converting my .avi files to .vob so i can watch my movies on my dvd player with my family, my question is...how do i get chapters? I went to go watch a movie and i noticed i can’t fast forward, rewind, skip or go back chapters...which is a real pain, so please if anybody knows how to make chapters, it would be very helpful to me..thank you.

Hi,

I guess it depends on what software you are using.

I know in ConvertXtoDVD it makes chapters automatically and you can change the default chapter points, you can also make custom chapters too. Check this post our for screen shots on how to do this: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?p=1630108#post1630108
