Winavi error message

Hi

Could someone help me with a problem i am having with winavi.

Everytime i try and start the program, an application error message comes up saying
The instruction at “0x73dd1004” referenced memory at “0x027706bc”. The memory could not be “read”.

I have windows xp and have tried uninstalling and re-installing winavi 5.8 numerous time.

?;( i need help.
