Entree Rep: 0 Joined: 28 Oct 2004 Posts: 1 OFFLINE | Ok guys heres the story i bought an indash head unit for my car its a clarion vrx735vd. It can play vcd format no problem the reason i know is have tested it with music videos.... I have burned 2pac vid’s which were avi and mpeg and converted them to vcd.... Then i realized something if i could do that why couldnt i do that as well with avi and mpeg movies.... I took the movie full metal jacket as a test and the reason i dont use the actual dvd is because i have the vhs..... No piracy i just would rather not pay for the same thing twice or if you prefer buy the dvd. So i took the avi format and tried to use nero i realized that nero will make the avi allmost 1.1gig which is too high of a format for a cd-r. Max is 800mb. So i decided ok what if i change it to mpeg format well i did that was able to get it to burn but now im stuck because everytime ive tried to play it i get an error 6 from the head unit...... any information on a solution would be greatly appreciated. The software i have tried using is nero, ashampoo movie shrink and burn, I have also used cakewalk and no luck with any of these any information possible would be greatly appreciated
