DVD decrypter help!

I use dvd decrypter to backup my dvds. the decrypter makes a copy of the dvd fine. But when I try to write it to a disc it fills up the buffer status bar and says its writing the lead in, and then nothing happens. Then dvd decrypter wont cancel, and I can exit out of it, unless I unplug my external dvd drive.

Im new at this, can anyone help please?
