Hey, Try redownloading it. Unstall your current one. Then When you install. Install it into another directy. say like install it to C:\media\vlcinstall\ if that dont work other whys if your able to start VLC without playing a video and it dont crash. it maybe a issue with the settings. try doing like what i stated in a later post. it was when i was talking about avi issues if you had some.

“as for not seeing avi video feed could be the hardware. you can go into settings to change the default Output Modules. Try useing DirectX Video output. that should work but video may freeze when moveing VLC around the screen or resizeing. in that cash puse it and unpuse. alwas unfreeze the video for me. "

Try Doing the same thing. and see if that helps. sometimes the output module can be a bit messed up. and cause crashes. when you do that and start the video the video may freeze if you move it around the desktop or resize. puse and unpuse again to un glitch it.

if the issue still goes on it possible there is a conflict on your system. I would have to see the error. If you Vist my website and goto my new Forum Ask Troy. You Can Upload attachments you can make screen shoot and upload them on my site.

my site is http://clarkzone.dyndns.org/

if your seeing isnt well. the forum button should be found at the top left in the side left to right menu under the ClarkZone Logo.

good luck smiley

dhoom. .bin and .cue are images. There used for Setting up a cd to brun for say if you dont have a disc but pre code it. some people use this to compress data as well like zip files.

What you need is http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php?mode=ViewCategory&catid=5

once that install you wanna set up a virtual drive. then you can tell it to mount the .bin or .cue then it should work like a Real DVD or CD rom you can wait for auto play or goto my computer.

Also i think downloading a Cilent like WinRAR may support reading them formats as well but i would use Daemon Tool’s Virutal Drive.

magsi. You can not play a Torrent file. A torrent File is used by Torrent cilents to download the real files your looking for. Goto Utorrent.com and then you can run the torrent files to download the real file(s)

thianpa. Thats something i wouldnt req. Pretty much all videos not fully download would mostly read as bad. but if i had to pick a cilent that would be VLC. If there data saved at the beging at the video or sound file it should play till it runs out of data at a point and dies out. you can get VLC at VideoLan.org

Ron Jones. Those are just to much of a pain to fuck with in my opion. just re search for the same thing view its content before downloading. if you see anything like that just ignore it find another even if its less seeders and leeachers then the one with the crap formats. i was told once how to deal with them but way it was i remeber was a pain but sadly i dont remeber cuz i stay away from them.

phil_swansea_wales. sorry i didnt keep in order. but too lazy to do search but if thats anything like a Torrent file you need a torrent cilent. but if you cant find a cilent that can read that. i would jsut start over get utorrent and use good torrent sites like IsoHunt.com or Deadfrog.us
You can get the utorrent cilent from utorrent.com

what’s the extension on the movie file?

Ok this should answer a lot of the questions. Each torrent dowloader you use to download whatever the hell you watch needs a certain bittorrent file to actually play the damn thing. For example: I use uTorrent, and play it with Windows Media Player 11. For video, some people say they have one picture throughout the video and audio is fine. *Hint* This is the part were you pay attention. You need to go next to right click the file being played, go to prefrences. Under video if its working properly it will have a bittorent file name right there if not itll be blank or say “the bittorent file you are using is not supported by this torrent downloader”. Most people play .avi vids so go to google and seach .avi video players for ______ ( whatever you use ) Find one that suits you, download and put in on your default. If you payed attention this should work properly. If it dosent, then either 3 things happened, 1. You payed no damn attention and competly f’ed it up 2. your a.d.d and i forgive you or 3. your computer cant support the file you choose so you must pick another. *Hint* If your stupid enough to read this last part then Lawl because its just to see who’s an idiot.

I have downloaded The complete series of Chip n dale rescue rangers via a torrent ... the files play on my work computer, but not on my home machine, they are all .avi ... running Vista Ultimate on both. I have downloaded what seems to be every codec known to man, and it wont play on my home computer. Any ideas ... it might be a new codec, but I cant find the right one ... I have tried VLC, 3wplayer, and tons of others ... Gspot wont open them to tell me.
