Then I clicked on the file and a window opens up with the title of the show and a progress bar. So I needto open the peer list and then wait until some one pops up with it then wait my turn to get it? Cause nothing is happening.

ive got a few downloaded torrent video files, codec Xvid, along with LOL, it states that the format is .avi, but when i ran Gspot, it stated that the format was a Non-Avi unidentified format. Is there anyway to ascertain what format these video files are in, and what kinda video player to play these files? i’ve got VLC and WMP, both of which even with tonnes of codecs already installed cant play the frigging files.
fyi, theyre 24 Season 5 episodes, S05E16 to S05E24, interestinginly there are two files that can be played, but theyre in .mpg format, its only all the .avi cant be played. maybe somebody just screwed up when ripping all these files..

Log Guest | Bin and cue files are files which tell your CD burning software what to write, they are disk images (of sorts)
open the file with nero and burn to a cd. you’ll then be able to play this on your computer
alternatively, if you can get hold of a copy of PowerISO you can mount the bin onto a virtual drive and view directly from there
PowerISO is not free software but i dare say you could find a cracked version on Torrentspy or the like

Downloaded Clerks2 from Isohunt - I can play it through VLC but I only get video with no audio, there is stuff all info regarding audio compression only info about audio QUALITY... Ive downloaded so many codecs that its just starting to become ridiculous now. Any help would be appreciated.

Geesuhs Guest | Ummm...no, not only WMP. Just use VLC Player. Its the most trouble-free player, as simple as download, open, enjoy. VLC can play almost any file type, .rar, .bin/.cue, .dmg, .iso, .img, .avi, .mpeg, .mpg, .rm, .rv, etc etc etc.....
Astro you just called yourself a n00b hahaha just stop while your ahead.

Joseph Guest | I downloaded bit lord. The torrent file finishes downloading but when i save the file on mini nova i try to play it and it does not work. I tried media player and it says it cannot play file. I tried vlc but then it will play but no sound or video shows. I also tried real player but it does not play torrent files. What do i do?
