darko387 Guest | Thank you for your help. I opened the .nfo file with notepad. However, all that appeared was a mass of unidentifiable characters with no apparent pattern. I opened the same file again in MS Word and aside from a hand flicking me off (created from various symbols) I found the following information, which I have placed below:

I’m not quite sure how this serves to direct me in stripping the other files. Could you try to make sense out of this? I know I must be missing something. Sorry if the answer is blatantly amongst the text. I just don’t see it. Thanks.

TopsyTurvy Guest | There r 2 folder. When U click twice, U will then c all of the contents. 1 is the sample folder n the others show the rest of the 14.31m files incl. 1 rar file. UnRAR the file with winrar by double clicking on it n winrar will open. Now all U have 2 do is xtract it. then save it 2 where ever U want. Its up 2 U.

Kristorius Guest | ok i’ve downloaded the the file completly and it has a bunch of parts to it know when i try to play them in VLC it only plays the first file why isn’t it playing alll the others?

DepthCharge Guest | Whenever I play any file through VLC player, I get really poor sound quality, full of static and you can barely hear the intended audio.
This is particularly bad with music video files.
I know that it isn’t a problem with the files themselves as when I get them to play in other media players they sound fine... but I have a .bin and a .cue file that I need to play, that I can’t get anything to play.
I’ve mounted the .cue in daemon tools, and the .bin too but I get a folders with files in - and a 800 mb .dat file (Which no doubt, is where the video is in).
How exactly do I get this to play? Is it only VLC player that I can do this on without burning? and is there a solution to the VLC problem?

Slogra Guest | "Now I just have a .BIN and a .CUE file but I cant make theem play. how do I make the file play using a media player?" eeh.. what’s that supposed to be? i just saw my playstation rom with those so maybe you need a game emulator instead of a media player?? sorry if i sounded like a noob so go to hell if i did....

JayZed Guest | open the .cue with a cd burning software, OR open the .bin with winar.

Mr Ginga Guest | Hey a little off topic ( I’m not moaning about torrents)
But I downloaded the VLC media player and decided to test it out with some of the episodes I had on my comp (namely the OC and Family guy)
These are perfect in WMP and real player, even DivX but when I try playing these in VLC I get a spliced image, you know like a dirty video cassette where the image is repeated and overlaps from the bottom to the top of the screen.
Any way of sorting this out, maybe fix aspect ratios or some codec I need?
Thanks | |

I hav downloaded a .bin & .cue file but can’t play them. I have follow instructions from thread but don’t appear to have an option to create a new clonedrive in the settings of CloneCD(ver 5.2.6.1). Aaargh!
Only options on drive control tab are 1. eject media. 2. lock drive.
I have searched several forums to no avail am I missing something really obvious
I would be grateful for your assistance

Dante_Grim Guest | First off, I know Absolutely NOTHING about computers. I have recently DLed BitTornado. Then I went and Tried to Download an anime, Texhnolyze. I got the .torrent file, and it took about an hour to DL the four episodes. When I was all finished DLing them, i went to open up my VLC player(also recently DLed)and proceeded to open up a file. I browsed around fir the specific file that I wanted to play, selected it and....Nothing Happened.
Now what’s my problem? Do I need some codecs, is my .torrent file corrupt/broken?
Also in my firefox Downloads window When the file was done DLing i went to Open the file, but it came up as Operation Failed, or something along those lines.
I’m pretty sure it’s a VLC file. But the file name is as follows
Texhnolyze_01.DVD(AAC)[KAA][52450D60]
Can anyody help me out? | |

Guten Nacht Guest | ya i my problem is just aout the same as liz’s! once i’d downloaded the file(100%) using FULLDLS TORRENT the file that was created contained two more files cd1 and cd2 and a file named Sample(containg a single scene of the movie)files cd1 and cd2 containded numerous .rar files and a single SFV file each. but i cannot play. the only thing i can thing of doing is decompressing the files... Is there a certain act i should perform, and if so, could you describe how to do it?
