Virgin100thTimeOver Guest | why not just burn the .bin file to cd or dvd? all it is, is like a .rar file. Download magiciso or winiso and then extract the file to your HDD, or burn it onto disc.
You can also make the file you downloaded smaller by converting it to .iso format.
why bother with mounting images...unless ur a gamer?

Virgin100thTimeOver Guest | Use Magiciso or fireburner to burn your image file (.bin) to a cd or dvd. then u can play it as it was meant to.
On a different note, does anyone know where i can get a .srt plugin for vlc?

itwasmee Guest | just wanted to say that what the geust wrote at the bottem is a jerk...funny, but still a jerk....i have spent 6 years of trial and error and had to teach myself how to do what i can with computers and im always helping my computer illiterate friends.....it;s our duty to help those less fortunate than ourselves....not ridicule them.....JERK !

anotherjerk Guest | Theres a limit to anyones patience when people refuse to take the time to help themselves. If people cant be bothered to read 3 posts up and see clear and repetitive answers to thier questions they have litle hope of understanding computers or anything else. Why people will spend time on forums asking ridiculous questions, constantly checking back for someone to hold thier hands, when thier questions could be answered 12 ways from tuesday with even the most illiterate google search is beyond me.

moneymagic Guest | Dont let people that knows more than you pull your leg. If you mean that your files dont start in your player, maby you need an updated encoder. donot expect torrent files to be opened in your player. instal bittorrent and you are on your way. Dont mind that geeks pull your leg. Life is magic :-)

Jennifer Guest | You know, when someone comes on to a site like this looking for answers (because maybe they don’t work with computers or spend all day playing with them) acting know-it-all and bitching about patience worn thin just feeds into the computer geek cliche. If you get annoyed with people who need things broken down step by step, don’t send replies to posts asking for help. Simple as that.

prod Guest | I quote:
“A torrent file is not a video file at all. it can be one, but basically it´s a file that is used by bittorrent or other filesharing tools as a temp file. Thjat means while downloding a file through bittorent any type of file is called torrent.. as soon as it is complete (and of cause not broken) it changes it name to the type of file it´s used to be. could be aci .. could be a program an mpg or anything.. !!!! you won´t be able to open a torrent file .. becaus eit is an unfinished download file.. ) just some parts of it sometimes 99.9% of it are in it of the original file) 2nd: torrent files somtimes only care the information about where and what to get from your filesharing tool.."
No not at all. A torrent file just stores things like checksum information about the file, and the location of the tracker. It is not a 'temporary download' nor is it an unfinished file. Your bittorrent program builds the file as it downloads in your download directory, not in the torrent file.

darko387 Guest | Okay, here is my problem: I have been trying effortlessly to download the pilot of the new FOX show “Prison Break," which has been leaked on the internet. Everyone has told me to go to w3.isohunt.com and type in “Prison Break." I’ve done this and completed the download using Azureus. However, when I go to the destination in which I have the files saved, the only accessible file is a one-minute sampler. Other than the sampler, there are 28 files that accompanied the download. I am unable to open them and have no idea as to what purpose they serve. Below, I have included the names of all the files that came with the download:
prison.break.101.nfo
MSInfo Document
12 KB
stfu.nfo
MSInfo Document
1 KB
stfu-pu.101.pilot.dvdscr.repack.r00
R00 File
14,649 KB
stfu-pu.101.pilot.dvdscr.repack.r01
R01 File
14,649 KB
stfu-pu.101.pilot.dvdscr.repack.r02
R02 File
14,649 KB
stfu-pu.101.pilot.dvdscr.repack.r03
R03 File
14,649 KB
The above files continue sequentially reaching R23, at which point the file name changes slightly:
stfu-pu.101.pilot.dvdscr.repack.rar
RAR File
14,649 KB
stfu-pu.101.pilot.dvdscr.repack.sfv
SFV File
3 KB
“Sample," which opens to the following file:
stfu-pb.101.pilot.dvdscr.repack.sample.avi
Can someone please help me? I know I should be able to extract more than a one-minute clip. I apologize if I have missed the solution to a similar problem that was posted earlier, but I read all the posts and could not remedy my problem.
