naah that aint true it also works with other players such as: Zoomplayer, ACE divx media player, DIVX alpha (but u got to have Direct vobsub), Bs player (limmeted and fullversion) and plenty of others.

Ow and i allready found out why it doesn’t play subs. Well it does play subs but it has to be .sub files or .logo sub files. And it simply doesn’t play srt files because it doesn’t have the srt option in the sub menu, which means that u can’t play srt files dohhh!!!.
VLC is busy with another release which can play srt files. So ya’ll have to wait.

If u have .bin and .cue files u got to have a virtual clone drive. CloneCD is a good one. After you installed it right click on the icon and make a new virtual clone drive. It will ad a drive on your my computer. Then right click the drive select mounth and click on the .bin target. It will open the file. .Bin are cd images u can open with virtual clone drives. Too download clone cd go to www.isohunt.com
www.filemirrors.com and type in clonecd
or search for other torrent sites or use mIRC or eqzeem.

Note* if it doesn’t have the right click option on the icon to make a new clonedrive, just double click on the icon, the program will apear, select setting and select the number of clonedrives u wanto have.

IF a player doesn’t play the sound or does and no screen, it means that your missing an audio codec or an video codec. U can download Gspot (at filemirrors or search with google) too check wich codec your missing. Search for the coded on the internet and download it. After you installed the codec/s it will probally work. If not download video or audio codecs. video/audio K-lite codec is reccomendable.

Ok I am not really a newbie to all this but I downloaded a file- 100% complete, says its a torrent file in the location where I stored it and it just won’t play. You think the file is corrupt? Its strange. Really.

Sigh i just said the .Bin and .cue thing above the second page, yes this page (page2). Don’t ask things if their all ready had been answered

Anyway as said by many people torrents aren’t a file that u can play with a media player or something like that. A torrent file is a file that u use with a Bit torrent program. If u open it with that you’ll see that it’ll start downloading. so it’s not a video file but a file that helps u download the thing that u wanted to download wink. The most recommended is Azureus (but they’re also allot of others) U can download it at www.filemirrors.com and type Azureus in the search thing. Or u can download it at their site (but i forgot the name, just search at google)
If u use Azureus you got to have JAVA, this can be found at www.java.com. After u installed both programs (java & Azureus or any other bt program)just download the torrent file again and open it with the Btprogram. Don’t forget to configure your Azureus options and choose a good port. Good luck with downloading the file.

If the movie u download still is at 99.9% that means that there are no seeders or that the tracker is down. Just wait until it completes. If u can’t wait just download

I have just downloaded House Of Wax, and have a Folder with Cd1 and Cd2,

Cd1
Bin 807,703
Cue Ikb

Cd2
Bin 807,765
Cue 1 Kb

In the Folder is a Sample MPeg Video 14.6 meg, which plays for a short while, good quality picure.

There is also an Ms info document which will not open.

I have read comments about needing CloneCD, but am confused by CloneDVd etc on the search engine, does it matter which one I use.

Thanks

Hi,
I have downloaded a copy of clonecd
I followed Instructions, Mount Etc
This brought me to Windows Media Player which could not recognise or play it.

I am trying to make a playable dvd, and it seems so much trouble,

I have discovered that I can copy from e: clonecd and import it to powerproducer(software already on pc)become avsoq01 and avsoq02.

I have copied each mpeg to its own dvd, these both play on my domestic dvd player.
I have another problem which is one of the dvd is jumpy and unwatchable because it jumps every 10 seconds or so, I did match the recording speed with the disc speed. The strange thing is that the dvd plays excellent on my Pc.

I was wondering if I need to download a better media copier. Also I am trying to find out if I can play the movie just using the files on my PC, which I have been unable to do.

Sorry for hogging the thread but I am new and trying to fathom it all out,

Cheers

Kev
