jimbbobo Guest | Wow... you guys really are noobs... and you won’t even know about it cuz I’m posting about three years to late! But, a bit torrent is a little tiny file that you dl from a sever, that little tiny file connects you to the seeder who is uploading the major file onto the internet. The more people seeding the torrent the better it’ll dl.
Some times you can actually preview a bit torrent but more often then not you can’t. I’m not sure why VLC player won’t preview them even though the file is done.
In essence you have to wait for the file to finish dling. Then open the file in a player of some kind. I recommend VLC.
Now, understand that even if you open the folder while the torrent client is still open and downloading just because you see the files does not mean you can view them. They have not been completely dled.
I’ve also found that if you close the torrent client mid dl you may be able to preview whats been dled, in other words you’ll just get fragments of the file and not the whole thing.
Sigh I hate noobs.
