ike Guest | Ok..its been said what to do here quite a bit...simply said use nero. IF you have to convert something use tmpge. its extremely noob friendly, and if you know what your doing you can do much more.
To andy...if its not to big, convert it with a the program tmpge, (u can find a download for it..if you use bit torrent look for the 5 in 1 pack) just click convert to dvd..add the parts in and wait...and wait..and if you get the 5 in 1 pack it has an authoring program with it as well..where u can make menus, chapters etc..and burn it.
hope i didint misread anything and i dont sound like an ass/idiot.

ArrrJaaay the pirate Guest | ok I burned the bin file to cdr as a vcd and put it in my dvd player and it didnt work.
So then I put in my toaster and all I got was audio.
After that I tried the microwave, It just came out all melted and shit.
So finally I just put it back in the computer and watched it on my 50” TV that doubles as my monitor.
Arrrrrgggggg................ I love being a Pirate

UKfirefighterbuzz Guest | I downloaded a movie in .daa format, used PowerISO to covert it to ISO but when I burn it it doesn’t work in my dvd player. I’m no computer expert and I’m sure I’m not doing something right. I have Nero 6, Alcohol 120%, PowerIso. I’ve come across .bin files, .cue files, images, and it’s like a foreign language to me. Help please.....but imagine I’m a thick 4 year old when you explain things :-). Cheers.

You need to be a little more detailed, there are a few ways to burn things with nero. Im gonna need more then “burn it with nero”
Like, are you talking about burning the mpeg as a whole file or as a vcd through nero?

Just another guy with helpful hints Guest | Here’s what I just tested as I was also looking for a way to burn a ".Bin” file to “CD”.
This file is “KVCD” video even though it is “BIN” file format.
The reason I needed to know how to burn it before Im actulaly figured it out on my own was because I am missing the ".CUE” file that goes with it so I had to figure out which to do to make this work and found this thread.
Anyway, to make a long story short and a simple solution to any of the problems you all are having, this is the way I did it and it worked fine...
Opened my copy of Nero, closed out of the begining splash screen and just went to “Recorder” and told it to burn an “Image” which was the “BIN” file. I did NOT change anything but the mode which I changed to “MODE 2” and then burned away and wallah!
Hope that helps I may have to edit this if I find out anything else I may have missed, anyways, easy huh? it seemed to be to me anyways

buster Guest | OK, i know that you can burn the bin file to a cd using nero but the thing is that i want to burn it to a dvd disc so i can watch it in my stand alone dvd player. i know that its a waste using dvd disc but some dvd players won’t play it. i would just rather have it on a dvd media so i can just pass it along to anyone. so is it possible to burn it to a dvd media without getting any error messages?

Paigey Guest | You need to save the cue/bin image files as a nero (nrg) image file first. Then burn the nrg nero image file to dvd.

Myst Guest | I had never interacted with a Bin/Cue file setup before. I came here and thought that Killer’s instructions sounded too simple, but I thought I’d try it.
Ok, I DLed Nero Burning Rom (but it was only available under a google, search, not avail on Nero.com anymore). I installed and started under demo.
So, I put a DVD-R in the drive and began. At first, NBR wouldn’t do it. It gave me a message about 'complication' and didn’t like that I have put a DVD-R in. So, I thought, “what the hell” and threw a CD-R in. It liked that and just like Killer said, it burned my movie to the disc.
I put in in my DVD player and keep saying “this can’t work, it’s too small” but lo-and-behold, the movie came on the screen!
Now, my player is a Magnavox MWD7006. It IS divx & cd-r compatible (and I scored it for only $38 at Wally-World!). So, my player will normally play any file that is burned and divx compatible, but I don’t think that was the case here as none of the usual menus and stuff appeared when I put the disc in.
Go with Nero Burning Rom and happy burning!
wrong it will open the wizard. close the wizard and go up (you know, where you have File, View, Edit, Recorder...) and go to Recorder and choose Burn Image. Now go to the directory where you have the bin and the cue file and choose the cue file. The cue file will direct the software to burn the bin file and then click Burn. That’s all. And don’t worry if you see that the bin file is more than 700mb. After you burn it, it will be less.
Good luck. If you have more questions ask.

Re nero burning - I found when the file is larger then the disk, use the overburn option
