annoying search companion popup

whenever i try to open a folder, annoying search companion popup. when right clicking a folder, search was at the top of the menu. is this a virus infection. anybody got the fix, tell me

Sorry. This is a little late, but better late than never.
It’s probably adware. Try ad-aware or spybot search and destroy. If you have Windows XP you can also try Windows Defender (requires validation). On Windows Vista, Windows Defender is already bundled, so just run it.
