Problems: AVI to DVD using WinAVI

Hi

I have trouble converting some (not all) AVI movies to DVD format using WinAVI 5.8. I use “Any to DVD”, set everything up and then start converting. However, when the progress comes to a certain percentage (some at 5%, some at 85%) the “Frame rate” goes down to zero speed and there it stays ! One example: It takes 10 minutes to reach 68% and after 15 !!! hours !!! I stopped it because it was still at 68% !!!!. The AVI is 410 Meg in size and 40 minutes in duration.

Only problem i have converted avi to dvd using Winavi v 6.2 is that when i play the dvd its in black and white,any soluntions

I have the same problem, certain avi files reach x percent then it stops converting.

i am using ulead dvd movie fatory 3.0 to make a dvd from either mpeg / avi and it works great

if i want to convert a few avi epsisodes onto the one dvd..only problem is all the converted avi films have the same 4 files..any program cant rename .vob files etc

im having the same problem as the first post... stops at 94 % !

whats wrong ?...
