I bought a mp4 player from China. After downloading some songs I pluged it in to recharge. After listening to part of a song the player turned off. When I turned it back on it was stuck on the hourglass screen. I tryed plugging it in to the computer but it does not recognize it anymore. What should I do? The player is brand new... Help!!!!

Mine is the same. the hour glass is stuck and it wont change.

I have tried disconnecting the battery from inside and totally resetting it.

The problem with the MP3/4 player is that it is the firmware that has gone faulty.

You need new firmware to reset ur player.

Hi,
I had the same problem. It seems to sense if the earphones
are plugged in or not. I Just removed the earphones, plugged them back in and wiggled the plug about a bit whilst on the hour glass screen. It just booted up ok.

Hope that helps atleast some of you!
