.avi files and track following error

Just learned how to burn .avi files onto disc and watch them on dvd player. Attempted two files last night and both worked out fine. Tried today with two separate files and get track following error, burn failed. heres copy of log, can anybody help

They suggest burning at a slower speed, or using different brand media.

Ive been burning at 16x on my 40x burner, so your saying i should buy better cd’s or use better files ?

Not better files! The files are just the same. Better media or even slower speed (if your burner allows it).
I’ve heard of some people having to burn at 1x speed to replicate certain CD’s. (I hope you won’t have to resort to that)
If you’re wondering what brand of media is best for your burner, look in the user manual. Sometimes they list recommended brands.

And be sure you have the latest firmware and version of the software (update patches etc.) That might sometimes help. A google search turned up this page for the burner you typed (double check! and don’t update if you bought it much later than the date on the page).
