I have two cd-rom, on is dvd-rom and don’t know if that happen to cd 3 or not. Does anyone know how to fix this. Beside they don’t give me choice to browse file to the cd 2 but only have 1 button say insert cd 2: “ok” or “cancel"

Hi, I just downloaded Rome Total War and the download came in 3 folders plus a file called reloaded.nfo. In each of the 3 folders there were numerous winrar archive files being labelled rld-rtwa.r00 to rld-rtwa.r41
I extracted all these files and they seem to have formed into a large file called rld-rtwa.bin (652 mb, 594mb, 722mb) and a small file called rld-rtwa.cue (1kb) This is the case for each folder. I have read what has been posted here already and I burned these files to a CD-R, however, when I tried to load the cd the computer detected nothing on it and Nero allowed me to burn files on it again... I suppose it never burned then. Is there any solution to this?

Whoops I’m an idiot, Nero was saving them as image files. I burned the bin file and the cue file onto a cd and loaded it up on my computer but they still remained as bin and cue files. any help would be appreciated.

Ive recently discovered Deamon Tools.

http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/portal/portal.php

Its a program that allows the installation of the game on your pc.

Once you have downloaded it, click Mount Image!

You will need to select the .cue file, in order for the game to install. It basically brings up the Setup.exe of the game, extract the files from the .bin file and installs the game.

This has worked for me on many occasions, try this. Post back if no luck!

people never read do they? XD
.. use iso buster if u cant burn the .bin files into the cd

iso buster acts as a winzip, extracts the .bin files directily into the folder you desire.

I read all most of what people have said before this page. but, people just talk about the .bin file. what the heck is a .cue file? i have a game and am ready to do all the instructions mentioned but i don’t know what to do with the two .cue files that come with the two .bin files.

If you do it the daemon way, choose the first .cue sheet file, this is what brings up the installation file, for the first .bin file, then choose the second .cue sheet for the second .bin file etc.

If you burn the files onto CD, make sure you choose the correct .cue for the .bin file

Ive tried the burning way, and its more hassle than the daemon tools way. At least you can extract the files directly from the bin files downloaded, and delete after installation, if you burn, then you have a wasted CD! unless you want it on CD that is.

isobuster was the best for just putting the games onto your computer if you dont want to make cd’s or they are too big like mine.
its very easy you just open the bin file and extract it in raw useable form whereever you want and viola you can install and play all those pescky games that wouldnt work before.
(granted, that they are bin files)
http://www.isobusterdownload.net/isobuster_all_lang.zip
it easy
just remeber if you have more than 1 .bin file in seperate folders all files have to go in the same folder, including the crack .exe file that usualy comes with a ripped game.
if you have questions email me.

Hi, when i downloaded Icewind Dale and unzipped into bin/cue files the cue files come back with a problem, so i used iso buster to extract the files to install onto my pc. Im having problems finding a virus free no cd crack, so is there anyway i can repair/redo the cue file so i can save as an image to disc?
Thx

I tried to open my game that has 2 bin and cue files with alcohol 120%. I opened the cue files with alcohol 120% but when i click on image burning wizard it gives me this window where it gives me information and it says “select an image file you would like to record." and then at the bottome it says “next." so i click on “next” and it gives me a window that says “cd/dvd recorder” and then it says write method in which i picked DAO/SAO and checked it on write. Then after i click start, it says waiting for disc and won’t do anything. can someone help me?

its all really simple, go download a program called limewire, www.limewire.com , install it, click the programs button, search for the game that your lookin for, should come up with something, but, to install a game off of a .bin file use limewire to download alcahol 120% and mount the .bin file onto the virtual drive, it should install good off of the .bin, you dont always need a .cue sheet for this, but if you do need one, download a random cue sheet off of limewire, open it with notepad, and replace the thing on the top or second line with the location and file name of your .bin file, this should work, it worked fine for me w/o the .cue sheets, but w/e. also, if anyone comes across a cd key for Rome Total War, plz email it to me at shadowgamer2121@gmail.com

same when opening movies with this, i think, i havent tried it, just mount the .bin or .iso or w/e onto the virtual drive, if a lil' window doesnt pop up asking you what to open it with open either divx or media player classic, click file : open : then go under : my computer : and look for the virtual drive, should be G or F or something, click it and click open, if that doesnt work, open my computer like normaly, right click the virtual drive and click explore, and look for the movie, also you can just right click it in alcahol 120 and click veiw files or somethin. hope this helps

usually they come with a cue file to read the bin. if it didn’t come with a cue file then it is probably a bad file. you could also make a cue file for it your self but that would take a while. its best just to redownload the program.
