Taz Guest | I’ve downloaded the Rome Total War game. I’ve extracted everything and installed perfectly on the the computer. Only problem is that when i copied the no cd crack into the appropriate file, everytime i try to open it windows comes up with a message saying that error with the program so it had ended debug, etc.
Can anyone help sort this one out?

Frig Guest | If it was burnt to disc they should have burnt as image from the bin and cue files ( and not as data ) so the disc would autoplay once loaded. Now you have to mount either the bin or the cue with Daemon Tools ( virtual drive you can use with most image files i.e. ISO, Bin & Cue, Mdf Mds etc ).

RyanHart Guest | Can some 1 help. I downloaded a movie that came down as 2 folders, each with 56 * 14.3mb of data in rar fileformat. Each folder also contained a single file of .sfv extension.
While I can use VLC player to play one minute segments of the movie, how do I play them all together.
So far I have tried using winrar to join the 512 file but it got me nowhere, just a large unplayable file of 768mb.
Also tried unpacking a single rar file of 14.3 mb with winrar and got a very large bin file of about 968 mb which I have no idea what to do with.
Any ideas????? | |

shadowofomioc Guest | Heres my little issue currently with Rome Total War. If you have the answer, please feel free to email me any information about how to fix this problem.
Alright so I downloaded CD1 and CD2 from Limewire recently. I " unzipped " the program using Undisker which is what I used to do everything with Halo and it all worked excellent. First game to install that actually had music and voices and all that all intact so it left a good impression on me.
Anyway, when I go and click Setup.exe in the main CD1 folder I get this message " Cannot run setup because Rome-Total War[TM].msi not found. I see the file in my CD1 folder as a windows installer program but upon trying to install TotalWar.Msi it says " cannot run as install must be installed in Setup.exe " So I’m stuck in a little loop where I cant install TotalWar.msi to run Setup.exe and I cant run Setup.exe because of Totalwar.msi lol.
Granted, I have yet to be able to download CD3. Can anyone send me the information via email on exactly how they unpackaged everything? Mine is currently spread out on two seperate folders to keep things organized. CD1 and CD2. Do I need to combine them? Do I need to organize all these .cab files?
Especially please lend me information on what to do with this .msi file problem, this feels like something that will linger even with CD3 being around.

angrunbrown Guest | Hi everyone,
I have recently downloaded rome-total war through bittorrent. I did as snowballer told me to(and burned the .bin files using nero). Whenever i insert the play cd, it says “please insert the correct cd." I have tried one crack, but the crack says I’m missing a file called mss32.dll. Anyone have any links to any working cracks? or now how to fix my problem?
thanks,any reply is appreciated
| 03 Jun 2005 06:15 am |
Frig Guest | The problem could b how u used the crack.
Crack has to replace the original exe file found in your games folder and not just droped anywhere.
The crack isn’t a file that you click and fix your problems, it is the game launcher that allows you to play without orignal disc.

Dino Guest | I have a questions.
First of all, i got lots of movies in my comp. and they are all in .avi format, but i looked everywhere to find converter from .avi to .bin and there are not converters like that. Ok so i found converter from .avi to .mpeg and my .avi movies is 699MB but when its converter into mpeg its 820MB which cant be fit on cd, even if i convert .mpeg into .bin and .cue. So my question is this:
Is there any kind of a program that converts .avi to .bin and stays the same quality and size so i can put it on my cd-r.
Thanks in Advance | |
