“Virus identified SQL Slammer”
this virus hides in the “1442.hda” file in the “temp” folder.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD EITHER OF THEM. It was really hard to get rid of the virus. They both show evaluation periods. They claim that the program will record the streams from AOL and winamp videos. But I couldn’t record any of them anyway.
I don’t think the recorder really works, or who made the program doesn’t know that there is a virus in the program. How is that possible.
It didn’t help me with my Shoutcast video streams and gave me the headache of dtecting and cleaning up my computer.

If you think I bamboozled you, ok, please delete the posts.
BTW:you maybe check your AVG, it is not GOD.

I had the warning after I downloaded and installed both programs from the LINKS that YOU had on your WEB SITE. Just after the installation my AVG (upadted every day at 7:00 PM) gave me the warning and the location of the virus. I went there and I found it. I am not trying to stop you from making money. I just warned people to be careful.

How to record NSV media streams from AOL Guest | I’ve checked the NSV Recorder and URL Helper with 2 antiviruses and I see no problem. As for AVG I it 'coz it always shows false alarms.
I’ve downloaded the software from
http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/NSA-NSV-stream-rippers-Record-streaming-Nullsoft-Video-Winamp-TV-Audio-HTTP-UNSV-protocols.htm
Here is a description of how to record from AOL Music and other services without using NSV Recorder or Coolbeans
http://all-streaming-media.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15
You may use other programs to find stream URLs

The guys from http://all-streaming-media.com
recommend free free Project URL Snooper

How to record NSV media streams from AOL Guest | By the way, WinPCap is reported as a security risk by many anti-spyware programs. And the majority of packet sniffers and URL snoopers including Project URL Snooper and URLhelper use it.

winpcap is not a virus, not a trojan, and not a threat on anybody’s computer. i use it all the time with cain and able.
(hashes + password cracking) and with the url sniffers.
but i think its more fun togo through layers of text and try and find the link your self, cause then you feel like you have achieved something.
p.s And btw where has everyone gone....???

Entree Rep: 0 Joined: 24 Apr 2006 Posts: 4 OFFLINE | Wow this was a long topic to read. Ive gotten a few leads here on my issue which isnt downloading from AOL. What I am trying to do is record streams from aznv.tv so I can watch them at my leisure. The server they stream with is limited and is full 24/7. Ive tried useing DAP and changing the agent id but it always shuts off and brings up a page in my browser from aznv.tv telling me no downloading is allowed. To find the stream url I opened the m3u file that the site gives winamp that contains the url. I have to do this quickly as my download slot times out fast but still no luck. Anybody wanna work with me on this? Any help would be much appreciated ^_^
ps. I took a look at the packets being sent back and forth from winamp and the server and used the agent id winamp sent in DAP as well. If you need any of the info i’d be glad to provide it. Last edited 24 Apr 2006 12:35 am by ccivex95

I have the same challenge with aznv.tv. I have tried to use streamripper, but it can’t create an nsv file with content.
I have been able to download and save .m3u link files and play them in Winamp, but when I try to record the stream, thousands of files are made but they are all 0 KB in size. I have noticed that after trying to record the stream, I can’t play any other .m3u file in that session. It seems that they are sending something (I’m not a techie or wiz to know what to do with what I get from there) and it recognizes that I am trying to save their stream and doesn’t allow me to even watch the stream and gives me the famous server is full warning!
I need to log out of that web site, delete all the cookies and other temp and temporary Internet files and other crap to remove my traces. Then I a need to restart my browser. I also need to exit the winamp and reconnect to be able to use m3u links. A lot of headache.
I hope somebody will try to help and enable us to rip the streams from aznv.tv

Adding http://progressive.stream.aol.com in front and replacing that lasta part with _dl.mov doesnt work, it works for single videos, but sometimes you get aplaylist like that one.

DaRk-SnIpEr Guest | I have noticed the dilemma with nsv files and I am working on a solution. I have taken the script for a video converter and re-writing the codec to read and write nsv files. When I have finished I will post the link here
