but that took time ff7 sold thousands in a 24 hours now if you count all the other time it’s out and with disgaea portable and oblivion portable

now, i suppose it could jump and the psp could outsell the DS for a for days/weeks maybe, but not overall. The psp is just too far behind.

k, let me break it down for you...

the psp is at about 22.15 million.

the ds is at about 44.97 million.

there is no way that one game is going to change that...and, as rage overdose said, the ds has pokemon. the highest a final fantasy game has ever sold is about 9.72 million. pokemon has one game that sold 31.37 million, one game that sold 23.10 million, one game that sold 15.15, one game that sold 14.64 million, and one game that sold 10.13 million.

its a nice thought, but thats not going to change anything.

haha, you know what this one is of? its a character from a show i watch. name’s ichigo. he is the main character, and about twice in the series he is just getting his ass handed to him, and he sort of lets his head drop, and you hear this insane laughing and he lifts it back up and its half covered by that mask and he has a really weird voice and he beats the living shit out of whoever he was fighting. so, ya, an insane super powerful character...seems pretty much perfect for an avy.

Just so you know Sonic... FF7 didn’t sell thousands in 24 hours... it sold over 2 million in the opening weekend... In Japan alone.

Buy yah, not even Crisis Core will be able to sell 20 million PSPs... a million... maybe... 20 million... no...

Pokemon is just the next biggest thing in gaming this year right now, ever since the intro of online functions in Diamond and Peral people have been using the Wi-fi connection more then ever. Pokemon alone is enough to give the DS even more of a landslide. Not to mention Zelda PH later this year.

Actually there is no possible way that PSP can outsell DS. Isn’t a debate anymore. It is physically impossible.

And even if FF:CC releases in PSP and it will be huge in Japan. DS still has the biggest game releasing there. Ever heard of Dragon Quest IX. Whatever PSP gains off that title hardware size DS will most likely gain gback with DQIX and more. Dragon Quest is actually the second biggest franchise in Japan only behind Pokemon. DS just has too many big games coming out in all territories for any game on PSP to cause sales big enough to break anything of DS. I mean Zelda: PH in America and Europe. DQIX in Japan. And Pokemon Diamond/Pearl still left to come out in Europe.

DS can’t lose this generation. It’s impossible. Not with what it’s got going for it.
