Jamie Guest | Hey all
Recently ive been having alot of codecs problems , i installed a mega codec pack and everything seemed to be fine . Until now , i bought a video camera ( Nsis DV4) And it records the videos as the codec 'motion jpeg' . I cannot see the picture all i see is a black screen but i can hear the audio .
So i have a question:
1.Is there any possible way to delete ALL Of my codecs and start a fresh with a mega codec pack .
I would greatly appriciate any help and if it helps i can post my current codec list from AVIcodec .
Thanks alot for any help .
Jamie

anonymous Guest | I’m not certain which codec pack you’re using, but generally speaking you should avoid them, unless you have very little time to search for and install codecs individually. If your codec pack has the option to do so, uninstall in turns all but one of the motion jpeg codecs (common ones included in codec packs are pegasus picvideo, mainconcept and morgan). Then trial and error will allow you to check if one of them works.
If this fails uninstall all of them and download DirectX 9 from Microsoft.

If this fails too play the file in Quicktime Player or Quicktime Alternative.
