Frustrated Guest | sos,
I like so many others, am having a problem with my logitech quickcam 4000 Pro. Even when i install the latest version of the quickcam software, i get the HVideoS error.
I’ve tried re-installing 7.21 and applying the patch. That still didn’t work. After that, I downloaded the package you recommend from Intel’s site. Still no effect.
I am running Windows XP Professional. I’ve reinstalled video AND audio drivers, but it still won’t work.
One note: when i initially installed the cam about 9 months ago, it worked fine. But so much has changed on my system.

Javy Guest | I recently had the same probem...
I’m not sure if this relates to yours but I just purchased ADS DVD Express and my Logitech 4000 Webcam software stopped working (causing the error mentioned).
After I removed DVD Express hardware and software the webcam was working fine.
