How to play a .avi file with subtitle file?

Hi all, I nedd to know how can we play a .avi file with a .srt file so that along with the movie we can see the subtitles also. I am having a .avi file for a movie and a .srt file subtitles file . I know this can be done using Mplayer but is there any other player also which can do the same?
