MPEG-4 ASF for chinese MP4 player

i brought a JXD MP4 player. but i cant play any video file in it. in user guide book its written that it supports MPEG-4 of ASF format and play effectionis 320x240@30f/s. how to do this. plz help me if any one know about this.

I have d same problem. I cant term myself as pro but i’m much of it.I tried encoding a file into an avi container with mpeg4 format, and then i coonverted the .avi container to asf.I succeded but the process is very long. And actually the codec that our player uses is divx4 which an outdated and messy codec. But still evn i am lookin for a proper converter that will allow me 2 directly add a divx4 stream to an asf container
