converting avi to vob, ifo and bup

sorry guys i feel thick right now , but i need yo help, i have winavi video converter and am using nero startsmart ive been tryin to burn avi and dvdrip and ts files on nero but i keep getting an error msge sayin no compatable file found and the wivonavi convertor dnt convert to bup vob and ifo file wich i think nero needs plizzzzzzzzzz help thanx gyz
