We would rather be able to pick from thousands of different things than have only one option allowed to us. But psycologically we always encouter, when we have too many options, what is known as the “paradox of choice” where you feel overwelmed by too many choices and begin to lose satisfaction with your ending result. Give a monkey a banana and he is happy, give a monkey the choice between 8 different banana’s and he will spend all day deciding which one to eat. ---

There is only so much the human brain can handle. The brain overloads with too much information. ---

UBER 1337 Poster Rep: 23 Joined: 26 Aug 2005 Posts: 4,974 OFFLINE | I’d answer this, or rather try to, but I do not follow it.
I make a choice and accept that it has been made. Regret is not an option. I go with my gut, so to say. For example, on the SAT’s, I don’t sit and wonder “What if?" on another answer to try and fill in, I just bubble the one I concluded first, after thought has been put into formulating that answer of course. Doubt leads to bad things. ---
