SQUiP wuz here Guest | I’ve just heard the news that it is now a felony to sell a Mature rated game to a minor. This law was just put into action 3 days ago, so if you are under 17, you have to get a parent to buy you a Mature rated game, otherwise the salesperson who sold you the game could be put in jail for about 2 years. I think this is total bullshit, knowing that the ESRB is vague at it’s video game rating system. I think that they should have an age rating instead of an “E, T, or M” system because a lot of M rated games like Halo are not on the same spectrum of violence as some games such as DOOM 3 and F.E.A.R.

Oh well. Doesn’t affect me. I can buy M-rated and don’t like helping little kids. So it’s win-win for me.
