applying an srt file when burnig

hi guys i have trouble getting a subtitle file to play with the movie, i have tried using the same file name except the extension
ad just wondered how do i incorparate them to work in conjuction with each other

what is the format of the file you are burning ??? convert the file using DivxTODVD.once u open the file to convert you have an option to load the subtitle.so it encodes the movie along with the subtitle.then u can burn them using the burning softwares you have.
