Sickening, just sickening stuff. It can never end, for people refuse to simply 'live' and stop thinking 'against' others.
Some want land in the middle east, yet we live on a vast ball of dirt called Earth - plenty of room for us all to co-exist....
Some want resources that are in other areas, but 'all' countries must evolve by their own work, and not by force over another to try and catch up with technology.
Some want revenge, and maybe this is the only 'rational' feeling in all of this carnage. How does this get slowed down? It’s up to each individual involved to make that choice - but there are as many opinions as there are people, so it’s near impossible.
A government is set up to gain 'some' control and over time calm matters down, every bullet/bomb stopped, is a move closer to peace. But it’s a slow, lengthy, and back-stepping process. Too many 'little chiefs' running around not listening.
If you watch many societies on TV, you can see people are being provoked from as soon as they can speak, to hate others (i say none specific, many cultures do this now), and that is where i believe it has to stop. No teaching, preaching, or guns. Every societies adults need to learn compasion and purpose, rather than blind belief because they were told something 'yesterday'.
Best thing i suggest? to all peace loving people, simply get up tomorrow, and leave the area - go 'anywhere', together. Do no take anybody fanatical with you, go and start your 'safe' society again.
And get those troops out of there - now. It is not a way to control things. The troops are targets - every society has it’s own problems, and will grow beyond them if it decides to. How would 'any' society like troops ariving from another land and wandering around, armed?
The troops have not stopped the violence enough to make 'any' deaths worthwhile for humanity to survive. I don’t believe it was thought through properly.
The effects we see now/past, are only the sad beginning.
But i hope in saying that, i am so so wrong.
