This has happened twice, when i get on the R6:Vegas servers, after a few minutes my modem simply stops working, i can’t join matches either, however, my 360 still shows me on Live even though the modem is shut off, and info is still being recieved. (wierd...)

But why is it doing this:? i can play everything else, but not Raindbow sic... why?

No... thats not what it means...

It either means the servers no likey likey me... or my connection is soooo bad that it simply fails when i enter them....

What kind of connection are you using? If your using a modem like linksys or something then it might be behind a firewall. If not then im not really sure

It could just be the servers were acting retarded as they usually do once in a while.

You should have an expert look into it.

Try connecting again later on.

I ONCE HA DTHIS PROBLEM! ok do u have a mdoem and a router combined? Or seperate? IF combined then u need to go out to the store and buy them seperate. A mdoem/Router can’t hold all the information. If u do have them seperate then it could either be

A. Ur Mdoem and or Router is messed up.
B. Ur internet connection is whacked.
C. R6 servers are down.

well i have sbcyahoo and i came in here looking for a solution to the same prob., i have a speedstream modem and i get to play rainbow 6 vegas 2 for a few games, then it keeps sayin it fails to connect. then it wont let me into the internet on my laptop!!
so i opened command prompt, typed ipconfig got the direct gate ip address, typed that into my browser, signed into sbc and it worked. but then i play rainbow six vegas 2 for about 4 more games and boom. the same problem again!!
so i think im just gonna return this piece of crap and rent cod4.
well thats all i gotta say ddude. i think r6v2 isnt for us! lol. i would keep playin but i dont feel like doin ipconfig for the next week.
