AVI from digital camera

Hello,
my last posting in German by error, here in English:
have basic experience in converting VHS etc to DivX, using VirtualDub.
My digital camera pdocuces Avi’s in following format:
— — -
Video: MJPG 320x240 15.00fps 2170Kbps [Video 0]
Audio: muLaw 8000Hz mono 64Kbps [Audio 1]
— — -
Can open and play these with Mplayer and VirtualDub, but cannot save/compress, get error code -100.

How can I edit these files?

you could use some converter to convert them.
like imtoo /cucu~~
I use imtoo dvd ripper platinum, it is a shareware,but it is really good~~
