nab Guest | Hi, can anyone help and tell me how to play .ogm & .mkv video file? What codecs or codec packs i need to dl? I’ve ffdshow, nimo, xvid and i’m using wmp9. So far when I try to play a video file, it’ll play but it’ll be very choppy and a couple of minutes later, it’ll says that an error has been made and it gives me an option to report the error or not . nab Guest | thanks anonymous,
i’ve dl both players and with media player classic, the picture is slower than the sound. vlc works allright, but with some files, the display is not smooth.
I’ve just changed comp and with the old one, i can play .ogm files fine. I once read the steps for it on this site but it was a long time ago. If someone out there knows or still remembers, please help and do share the wisdom ;.; thanks | |

anonymous Guest | I don’t quite recall if we had steps for playing ogm files, but one of the developers for the mkv format posted some info in this thread
http://www.moviecodec.com/thread/1373.html
and maybe in some other threads too.
For more thorough info your best bet would be to look at
http://www.matroska.org
I googled some and also found this
