That’s....not so great...hair texture is terrible...and there’s probably only 2 polygons in the shoulder....

PS3 Fan posted pics of the characters faces, you can see their pores, wrinkles, etc.

Well... i figured they were actually cinematic pics, because later pics were posted and they looked worse then before... but i just figured they were early pics.

So... the graphics don’t look uber detailed with wrinkles, pores, etc?

p.s. they reminded me of updated Half-Life 2 faces.

To tell the truth that image’s graphics suck but I do believe PS3 is going to start rising once it sheds its price because I really doubt it will go anywhere (even if graphics get fanominal)without a price change!!!

Sure this is real time. Cause last I checked you don’t play games this far up close unless it’s a Mario Party game and your screwing around with the face or something haha.

Otherwise hair is very bad. Blur is apsolutely bad. Textures are so smooth.

And really the pores are so big that they don’t even look real. Needs work basically.

You really start to see the limitations of the next gen cosnoles and even PC’s when we get to the small details such as skin pores, individual hairs, small detail in enviorment such as dirt. I mean when it comes to the big objects we do a good job like cars, but not so much on the textures for those either. Even the super PC’s are having problems doing it. It’s these microscopic details that overall seperate reality and an inferior computer to reality.
