But the problem is, I don’t know its name, so can’t download it directly. Now I hope to extract the background music and cut out part of it as cellphone ring. Could someone know which software can make it? By the way, my cellphone supports mp3 format as ring.
any help appreciated

carrot Guest | It depends on the format of your video. Is it avi? If so you could use VirtualDub and click file, save as wav. Is it mpeg? then use tmpgenc from www.tmpgenc.net and go to mpeg tools and pick simple demultiplex to separate the video from the audio stream. If it’s something else post back.

pinoy Guest | Try AoA Audio Extractor from www.aoamedia.com it will extract audio from almost any video format then use ringtone converting software from the web. Try it it might work for you.

carrot Guest | No, VirtualDub can’t read swf files.
What you’d need is a tool that extract objects from swf files. swf extractor (sothink, eltima) and flash decompiler come up on search engines. Most products for windows are pay however, but they may have free trial periods.
One free util I really like is swfextract, which is bundled in swftools (http://www.swftools.org). It used to be for unix only, but it’s been ported to windows. However it’s command-line (no graphical user interface), so it can be rough if you’re not a power user! If you do choose to go this way, look at #13 on this page for all you ever need to know http://www.swftools.org/faq.html
