encoding hanging up

 Using Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator 6....
While in the middle of encoding mp3’s and mpegs in preparation to burns a dvd....Roxio just hangs after encoding a number of items (mp3’s, mpegs).....I rerun and it might hang in the same spot/file or another spot/file further into the encoding procedure.

Anybody?????????????????????????
