It`s just took nearly 5hrs to download alien vs predator on imesh now the damn thing wont play!.I`ve tried it in Divx,Winamp,Windows media player,realplayer and mplayer. still no joy. the file size is 437mb. is this to small? does any1 know the actual size of a working copy of this movie? H E L P M E O U T!

i think that the file might be compressed. i’m also used to dl movies. try to dl someting 700 to 1500mb should be average. i suggest going to surpnova.org, find a bit torrent and dl with a torrent client. preferbly svcd and in divx or xvid formats is easier to watch with daemon tools. 5 damn hours!!! is nothing to me, be patient. wat do u expect from someting free?. give it a try, i don’t know if its works but i usually do this.

ts means telesync (camera in the cinema) and esoteric is the group that released the movie rip.

Download the latest divx (http://www.divx.com) and xvid (http://www.roeder.goe.net/~koepi/xvid.shtml) codecs and one of them should work.

If you still have problems, use AVIcodec to see what codecs you need and where to download them.

i know, how you feel, i dowloaed the same file through kazaa and it wont play, i tried all the avi analyzing programs and the avi is supposesed to be corrupted, it dosent play with any codec neither divx or xvid...
might as well delete the f***** file

Some files are deliberately broken, in a lot of cases the index has been stripped, it can be fixed with virtualdub, but its worth trying to play the offending file in VLCPayer, that will accept broken or partial files without you having to work on the file first
