Broken Codec, what do I do?

I downloaded K-Lite codec’s (standard) and got the following message and I need to know how to correct this please. Here is the message”

Description: <unknown>

Reason: No driver specified
Remove information from the Registry for this codec?

You could simply download and install the xvid codec.
