I am trying to convert .mov files that I exported from flash to mpeg files for a dvd. (I am using TGMPenc and have a plugin for quicktime). Now every time I do it the movie converts fine except there is no sound. I have tried converting other .mov files (e.g. the sample one it comes with) and the sound comes out fine. I don’t know if it has something to do with the way flash exports to .mov or what. I really need to convert these though so any help would be great.

Hi Steve,

I have the same problem as you. If you get the answer could you pass it on to me please, and I will do the same. Thanks

Well, I never found out exactly how to fix that problem but I found another way to convert my flash movies to mpeg. I exported the flash movie as an avi instead of a mov file. TMPGenc was much better at converting this. The only thing to remember is that in the export setting in flash you gotta make sure you choose an audio compression level, and also to keep the dimensions the same (otherwise its a blurry mpeg). This has worked great for me so I hope it helps you.
